Personal Information We Collect

As part of our work as a full-service title insurance and settlement company, we collect certain kinds of information about our clients. This may include information you send us in applications, forms and other communications, including by email, by telephone, in writing and in person; information about your transactions with us and our affiliated companies; and information we receive from third-party consumer reporting agencies.

How We Use Your Information

Any information we request from you is used only for our own legitimate businesses purposes. We will not share your information with any nonaffiliated third parties unless doing so is necessary for us to provide the service you have requested of us, or as permitted by law. We may share your information with affiliated companies, such as title insurers, property and casualty insurers, appraisal companies, home warranty companies or escrow companies. We may also share certain information with companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. Information may also be used internally, for purposes of quality control or analyzing customer data.

How We Protect Your Information

We work zealously to prevent unauthorized access to our clients’ information. We use encrypted email to communicate with lenders, in order to safeguard our clients’ personal data. Safe Harbor Title also carries a cyber-liability insurance policy to cover losses from hacking. We restrict access to personal information to only the individuals and other entities who need that information to render services to you.
